I have this album on CD and I think it is money well spent for twenty of the greastest songs that Creedence Clearwater Revival ever did during their careers. Like a corporation's stock sometimes is, I consider this album to be an extremely strong buy.

Even though I was upset that tracks like "Midnight Special" and "Born on the Bayou" didn't make it on the Twenty Greatest Hits cd, I give this cd a 5. All the good stuff is on here. Hard rockers like "Commotion" "Up Around the Bend" and "Run Through the Jungle" are great. Plus soft rockers like "Lodi" , "Who'll Stop the Rain" and "Have You Ever Seen the Rain", make this album complete with every aspect of CCR's talent as musicians. The best part of this album though is the classic tracks that define CCR. Tracks like "Proud Mary" , "Green River" , "Down on the Corner" and "Fortunate Son". Buy this album today. Great rock straight from the roots.

This album is, bar none, the best ever made. Nobody can say that they listen to music the same way again after hearing CCR. John Fogerty really belts out the lyrics and keeps you groovin to a type of music that is truly individual to CCR, swamp rock. Buy it, listen to it, love it!

This is roots rock at is best. Blues, country, folk, pychedelia, and good old rock&roll is what you get with CCR. Keep on Chooglin'!!

the Chronicles Vol. 2 is very thin
because all the good stuff is on
this disc. "Willy And The Poorboys"
was my favorite individual CCR album
and this is one of the best 20 CD's
