    This album was released in 1971 after Lynn Anderson's big hit Rose Garden (1970). As far as country stars go, Mrs. Anderson has a sweet, strong voice. The music on this album is more mainstream than one would think. A few slide guitars remind you th...at it is a country album.     The Lynn Anderson Christmas Album features the country/pop vocalist performing a variety of holiday favorites. The disc features a nice mixture of wellknown songs including "Jingle Bell Rock," "Rudolph the RedNosed Reindeer," "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus," and "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree," with pleasant originals like "A Whistle and a Whisker Away," "DingALing the Christmas Bell," and "Mr. Mistletoe." This is a fun holiday album that should please both young and old alike.
