    B.G.'s Chopper City in the Ghetto stands as one of the Cash Money label's greatest accomplishments, notably popularizing the phrase "bling bling" in the featured hit single of the same name. Here, as well as on other Cash Money albums of the time like Juvenile's 400 Degreez (1998) and Lil' Wayne's Tha Block Is Hot (1999), the Cash Money Millionaires truly are on fire: B.G. and his fellow Hot Boys are blossoming as MCs, and producer Mannie Fresh is perfecting his patented style. In addition to the anthemic single "Bling Bling," the album also includes "Cash Money Is an Army." As always with golden age Cash Money albums like Chopper City in the Ghetto, Fresh produces every track and the other Cash Money Millionaires often guest.
