Very well thought out plot and great acting

This movie lived up to my expectations of the book. Unlike most movies that are done after books are written, this movie followed the book almost to perfection. It even used some of the same lines as in the book. Although there were some scenes added to the movie, it did not take away from the overall plot. The acting was superb and very polished. I suppose my only complaint was that in some scenes there was almost no emotion, where I would have expected some. I have the DVD and I have seen it at least a dozen times. This movie is worth buying and watching. One of the things I like about this movie, in particular, is that although there is some violence, it is not in your face and they do not dwell on the gore. In fact, I cannot remember seeing much blood spilled, even though it is implied on several occasions. The movie was very well directed and researched in great detail. The directors and producers did a wonderful job with this movie. ...

Overall, this movie is the best i've seen in along time. If you like blue eyed hunks and giant worms, you'll love this movie. The animation, sound, and acting is great. It's way better than star wars.
