    I have seen several movie versions of Jane Eyre , but this is far and away the very best !!. Samantha Morton (Jane) and Ciaran Hinds (Mr. Rochester) could have stepped right out of the pages of Charlotte Bronte's novel and onto the screen; they are p...erfect in their roles and the chemistry between them is electric! They have indeed captured the personalities of their respective characters of the novel. I have watched my copy several times and it continues to be a very captivating and emotional experience for me each time, as if each viewing were the first viewing for me. (It is definitely a video to be enjoyed again and again.) These two leading actors are to be roundly congratulated and thanked for what they have achieved.I recommend that the book be read as well; Charlotte Bronte's writing is superb.
