Britpop??? Baggy man, baggy as fuck!!
The Charlatans, they never ever fail to impress, right in the middle of one of the biggest movements in British music history, one of the "old school" indie bands comes out with an album to beat them all. This is beautiful, every song on the album is strong, buy it, buy it now, buy two.
Trust me ,it pisses over everything any Britpop band will ever come out with, and I include the mighty Oasis amongst that lot.Was this review helpful? Yes - Nogoes good with a fat blunt
I don't know what to say about the Charlatans. I got into them via my brief affair with Oasis and the Stone Roses, now I can't get enough. This album is a lot of fun to listen to, has a Rolling Stones influence, and is nice with a fat blunt. The Charlatans haven't got the attention they deserve and it's a damn shame.

If you, like me, love the British (alt? sound (Stone Roses, Trash Can Sinatras, Inspiral Carpets) then you might enjoy this one. I'd rather listen to this cd than eat vanilla ice cream, but have to draw the line at cookie dough ice cream.
