angst of the rich boys club
in the 1920s. It is impossible to have sympathy or even interest for the sons of millionaires in the posh university system. These were the depression years, and people had a lot more important things in mind. Only the memorable music by Vangelis (formerly of Afrodite's child) drags this film forward

Without doubt, a film that has all the right ingredients. A storyline, cast and musical score that complement one another to create passion, drama and excitement. Rarely does a film touch your soul with such real emotion. If you're searching for inspiration, look no further.

An opening sequency with Vangelis's theme and young men with "wings on their heels" is unforgettable. A picture about true passion for life and a men's pride. A classic.

Great Film. Uplifting! Recommended for all the family. A "flashback" within a "flashback". True story about how two young men (one a jew and another a Christian missionary) from Great Britian prepare for the Olympic games held in Paris, France. Great look at old English university traditions, God versus king questions, and love. Excellent story line coupled with fantastic new music. A must see!!!
