Change was a studio group formed by Italian producer Jacques Fred Petrus containing European and American musicians, including leaders Paolo Granolio (guitar) and David Romani (bass). The group is most notable for featuring Luther Vandross on lead vocals on their first two albums. Later, the group based itself in New York with singers James Robinson and Deborah "Crab" Cooper, the latter going on to join CC Music Factory. In 1998, the Rhino label released the definitive retrospective The Very Best of Change.
