[Cerrito, born William Thomas Cerrito, grew up in Providence, Rhode Island where he began to embrace traditional country music, performing in both English and Spanish. Among his heros are George Jones, Jim Reeves, Merle Haggard and Hank Williams. In the mid 1980's, Cerrito headed to Los Angeles to pursue his musical dream. After a show in Las Vegas, he became friends with the legendary Dottie West, who inspired him to work harder to fulfill his dream. Cerrito is signed with Nashville's Checo Records.
