I loved this movie. It was a look into the life of a ballet dancer. It not only showed the ups but it also showed the downfalls.

What a great movie. I haven't danced in yrs. It made me go out and enter the dance world again. It really gets the blood flowing and makes you want to go out and Dance!!

When I entered the movie theater on May 26 to watch this movie I, surprisingly, noticed hardly anyone else in the theater. Lucky me, and I am a dancer of 10 years, I thought that I would be able to laugh as hard as I wanted and cry, without hiding my face, if I would need to. So, I sat down in my chair and waited for the movie to start. A few other people entered the theaters while the previews ran. As soon as the movie started, I felt energized and ready to D-A-N-C-E! Because I have Not-so-perfect turn-out, like Jodie, I could really relate to the characters. There is always the best in the class, the person who has to work very hard to get noticted, and someone who loves to dance but is disabled. I completely reccomend this movie for you and/or your family. Could it have been better? My answer is:
Why? It is a perfect movie with no obvious mis-haps. There is action, love, and most importantly DANCING! The acting and directing was great, the director really portrayed the life of a ballerina, but he also added fun music and a love complication.Was this review helpful? Yes - No
