The first member of Goodie Mob to go solo, Cee-Lo adopted a much more charismatic and flamboyant style for his 2002 debut album than his group had in the late '90s. The singer/rapper aligned himself more with eccentric alt-rappers like Andre 3000 of OutKast and Q-Tip of A Tribe Called Quest.
