Led by bassist Beau "Sammy" Sample, Cave Cat Sammy is a showcase for his rockabilly tunes and classic roots rock playing. Formed in 1997 by Sammy and classmates Steve Scott, Paul Ward, and Dustin "Ol Smoky" Hutchinson, the band's youthful attitude and powerful playing won them comparisons to classic artists like the Sparkletones.
