    Obituary kicks ass

    Cause of Death is another great album for all Obituary fans out there. I love every song on this album. The cool vocals, badass guitars, and thundering drums just make you come back for more. 5 stars

    This is a Metal Classic! Every track is an Opus in itself. The only down side to this album is the absence of John Tardy singing for the whole song - most songs are composed of a verse and the rest is music, but I do think this is a perfect recording.... Read more Less

    Just when you thought John Tardy and Co have outdone themselves with their classic release, they have broken out of the Death Metal strait-jacket with a roar and produced another classsic (sadly the last) with their sophomore effort. Exit Allen West ...and enter the nomadic James Murphy. This album is crafted and slightly departing from the head-on Death Metal bludgeon and intorduces various moods to its songs. Mistake not, the music is still unceasingly heavy and Tardy's vocals(which is now a signature Metal sound) are still as gutteral and undecipherable. This along with the debut 'Slowly We Rot' are truly must haves in any Death Metal fan's collection. Read more Less

    Scary vocals, badass gutairs, heavy drums, besides the live cd Dead this the best Obituary my two favorites are Cause of death, and Infected pick this album up!!!!

    This on is thrashier than "End Complete" but just as good. The only thing it lacks is the guitar solos. The song titles are great too.

    THE BEST OF OBITUARY

    This is the best album Obituary ever delivered, although THE END COMPLETE was pretty raw as well. Side two- starting with 'Dying'- form almost a complete symphonic movement with those five songs. It ALL be good.
