Casper Game Boy Advance

Similar to such titles as Rocko's Modern Life: Spunky's Dangerous Day and Lemmings, this handheld rendition of Casper's escapades charges the friendly ghost with aiding Dr. Harvey, who mindlessly stumbles about each of the game's environments. Able to assume one of six various forms, Casper must make use of each transformation's inherent ability to ward off the dangers posed to the good doctor and help him reach the end of each treacherous area.

As a shield, mirror, or fan, Casper is capable of staving off the attacks of the Ghostly Trio, while other transformations, into a plank and cushion, can be used to prevent Dr. Harvey from falling in holes or soften what would otherwise be fatal falls. Lastly, Casper can become a monster, in order to scare Dr. Harvey in the right direction, though doing so will cause the doctor's fear level increase. If Dr. Harvey's fear gets too high, he'll succumb and the game will be over.

In addition to his babysitting duties, Casper will also need to rescue six children scattered about each stage and seek out the five flasks that will return Dr. Harvey to normal. Keys and levers must be acquired and activated in order to ensure smooth progress throughout each level. Luckily, items and powers -- such as glue buckets, invincibility, and the ability to stop time -- can be acquired to aid Casper in his tasks. ~ Gavin Frankle, All Game Guide
