First, Casio exclusive 65,536-color hyper amorphous silicon thin-film transistor (HAST) liquid crystal display (LCD) provides an optimal screen for viewing still or motion pictures. Next, there is an optional digital camera extension card for the full functionality of a digital camera. And on the software side, Casio preloaded the E-500 with a range of multimedia packages for taking, editing and reproducing motion pictures, as well as MP3 for reproducing music.
