I am 12 years old. we had casino for 3 months and i didn't see it. one day i sat doown to watch it it the best movie i have ever seen. no other movie will topple this empire of casino.

What a movie!!! I'd give this 10 stars if I could, Robert DeNiro, Sharon Stone and Joe Pesci give the best performances to ever hit the silver screen. The story of a guy wanting to make it big in Vegas and run his own casino ends up in betrayal and unforgettable life experiences. Sam 'Ace' Rothstein (DeNiro) is a normal average guy who owns the largest and well maintained casino in Vegas that the mafia even want a piece of the money income. Master gamblers start to hit the casino with everything they got, things get slightly out of control, enter hot headed wise guy Nicky Santoro (Pesci) to keep things under wraps.
After a while, Nicky decides to crank the heat up a notch, so he starts his own jewellery business which is really used to smuggle in stolen gems. Feds and cops become suspicious and make icons out of both Ace and Nicky. If things were'nt bad enough, Ginger (Stone) a lowlife prostitute, marries Ace, takes everything he's got and blows it on drugs.
A very compelling story, top notch acting, extreme brutal violence, very offensive pervasive language, all the ingredients of a true winning masterpiece. Director Martin Scorcese has always made award and crowd winning works of art.

Another great Mob Story

Brilliant performances all around the board. Very contraversial and stunning. Much of the story is narrated which gives it a great feel. DeNiro once again plays a rather complex character. I would also have to say that this film probably has the F-word in it more than any other film out there. I didn't count, but I am willing to wager it. Check this out if you are a DeNiro fan. A must for any Godfather freaks too!

Scorsese/De Niro at their best

This film is always over looked. When someone talks about the brilliant Scorsese and De Niro partnership, Ragging Bull and Goodfellas are the first to be mentioned. Casino is my personal best, and one of my best movies of all time.

This is wonderful cos it's both mean and utterly funny! De Niro, Sharon Stone and Joe Pesci are the greatest! And all those bosses back home just crack me up. I cannot get enough of this one. Only Scorcese can make really amusing mobster movies!!! I recommend them ALL!

as read on the video package,"not every one stays at the top forever", cant be expressed more in this story. in a circle of mob families decide to send
robert de niro and joe pesci to las vegas tohelp run a tanjiers casino. as soon as robert deniro meets sharon stone all hell breks loose as this 47 year old man's life bigins a stunning downfall. at the end though, mr. deniro has to start all over.
