Throughout the nineties well into early part of the new millenium, The Cash Money mafia carried the Dirty South flag in a way few other labels/groups have. While No Limit records was at the pinnacle of their game, Cash Money quietly positioned themselves to inherit the crown with a string of chart topping hits, and when the Cash Money empire began its downward slope many looked to Juvinille and company to inherit the crown. This compilation harvests some of the group's finest moments from their solo and group efforts, with the king jewel of the crown being Juvinille's runaway dirty bounce smash "Back That Azz Up". In comparison to other label families overrun with a stable of talent and endless finances the arsenal of Cash Money was comparitively limited, and that's definitely a good thing as Mannie Fresh cooks up dirty south beats like few can and the boys deliver their trademark raunch and style so easily identifiable. This is an amazing document and an essential piece of dirty south... history. And while die hard fans of Cash Money will most likely already have all of these hits.
