Synopsis: Casablanca Express (1990)

Nazis attack a train taking Winston Churchill to a top-secret meeting with Stalin and Roosevelt in this World War II action film. The only thing standing in their way is secret agent Alan Cooper, who must rescue the captive Churchill before he's taken across German borders. Glenn Ford and Jason Connery (son of Sean) star.

    Bad movie and bad DVD!

    The Front Row entertainment DVD issue of Casablanca express offers a below average TV-movie and a below average picture and sound. The colour is quite washed out and the picture is both soft and shows problems with "flickering". It seems that this is... quite usual with Front Row DVD issues which are close to beeing substandard even for offering a low price. Obviously the source material for this issue is are from VHS. The sound is quite bad and it is sometimes hard to follow what the actors say. I would rate the picture and sound 1+/5.The movie itself is bad and was a hughe dissapointment for me. I like ww2 movies, Pleacence and Ford but this did not help at all. This is a very bad movie with bad acting. the story could have been good but the director seem not to bother with it so all we get is a TV-film I rate 1/5.Conclusion: A bad DVD issue, even a bit worse than Front Rows usual standard.
