The first time I watched the movie, I was around ten. Didn't freak me out then, and still don't. Only thing that I remember thinking was, "awesome". I give Stephen King props for this one. I have watched, or read for that matter eve...ry story he wrote. But nothing compares to "Carrie", in my opinion. If you haven't watched it, or read the book, I must say, watch or even read it. I really liked this movie. Carrie's mom in my opinion was very mean to her and I thought of her as an evil person. Those who were mean to her got what they deserved towards the end. The mom deserved to die because she tried to kill Carrie first.

Everytime I see it i look forward to one of the most terrifying scenes of them all the prom scene!!!The movie is sorta gross in some parts but other than that this movie creeps up on you and builds all the way to the end!!!It also has one of the most... memorable and twisted endings in horror or suspense history!!!It gives a whole new meaning to the term GOTCHA!!!Very suspenseful,creepy,twiste

I can relate to Carrie's character so much, it's almost like watching a movie about myself, except for the whole telekenesis thing. :)

well iv'e read both the book and film and i just have to say they are both unique towards other teen/horror films. it keeps u in suspense though the book is mmore discriptive, and the movie feels quite lifelike.i guess it's how the book goes, if u we...re in a situation like carrie's peers, it would be those moments where u have two options. you either die urself laughing making a fool of her, or go completly mad with craziness. William Katt was one strong character

i've read the stephen king novel carrie, and let me tell you right on ,that the intrigue in the movie can't compare with the intrigue generated in the book but maybe that may have been because the movie didn't have some parts that were rather import...ant to the essence of the Carrie affair. for example the dialogue that was so important between Sue snell and Thomas Ross was missing,the dialogue between Carrie white and Thomas Ross before she entered the prom was missing and that could have done a lot for the movie.the action was phenomenal with the special effects , especially the part where Chris and Billy meet their bane.William Katt played a most heartwarming role and it was a capturing role, but then again i guess since Sissy spacek's acting was extraordinarily beautiful , Katt's success would have had lot to do with her portrayal.It was a very sensuous movie especially the beginning, very artistically done, elegant .lot's of Nostalgia.Ishara Jayawardane.
