wow
Pros: has a good hook makes you keep watchin
Cons: rated r not that scary just creepy..
wow i watched this maybe summer of 2006 and i was left mouth open after i watched this movie its really great for a first scary movie in the very beggining my mom laughd so hard but in the end my mom got scared especially in the prom parts and after the prom when she gets home. i feel bad for carrie its a good movie though

The first time I watched the movie, I was around ten. Didn't freak me out then, and still don't. Only thing that I remember thinking was, "awesome". I give Stephen King props for this one. I have watched, or read for that matter every story he wrote. But nothing compares to "Carrie", in my opinion. If you haven't watched it, or read the book, I must say, watch or even read it.

I really liked this movie. Carrie's mom in my opinion was very mean to her and I thought of her as an evil person. Those who were mean to her got what they deserved towards the end. The mom deserved to die because she tried to kill Carrie first.

Everytime I see it i look forward to one of the most terrifying scenes of them all the prom scene!!!The movie is sorta gross in some parts but other than that this movie creeps up on you and builds all the way to the end!!!It also has one of the most memorable and twisted endings in horror or suspense history!!!It gives a whole new meaning to the term GOTCHA!!!Very suspenseful,creepy,twiste

I found this story to be very depressing, and like most of Stephen Kings storys, it just left me with a feeling of emptiness.

well iv'e read both the book and film and i just have to say they are both unique towards other teen/horror films.
it keeps u in suspense though the book is mmore discriptive, and the movie feels quite lifelike.
i guess it's how the book goes, if u were in a situation like carrie's peers, it would be those moments where u have two options. you either die urself laughing making a fool of her, or go completly mad with craziness.Was this review helpful? Yes - NoBrutal

i've read the stephen king novel carrie, and let me tell you right on ,that the intrigue in the movie can't compare with the intrigue generated in the book but maybe that may have been because the movie didn't have some parts that were rather important to the essence of the Carrie affair. for example the dialogue that was so important between Sue snell and Thomas Ross was missing,the dialogue between Carrie white and Thomas Ross before she entered the prom was missing and that could have done a lot for the movie.
the action was phenomenal with the special effects , especially the part where Chris and Billy meet their bane.
William Katt played a most heartwarming role and it was a capturing role, but then again i guess since Sissy spacek's acting was extraordinarily beautiful , Katt's success would have had lot to do with her portrayal.
It was a very sensuous movie especially the beginning, very artistically done, elegant .
lot's of Nostalgia.

IT WAS A GOOD MOVIE! CHUCKY AND I WATCHED IT AND IT WAS GREAT! ESPECIALLY THE PART WHEN THE MOTHER GOES "YOUR DIRTYPILLOWS ARE SHOWING". THAT WAS THE BEST PART!!!! DIRTYPILLOWS....WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT??!!!

After reading Stephen King's version of Carrie I can honestly say that the movie holds the basic plot of the book However, the set up is quite different. If the director of Carrie kept the setup of the book the movie would have been much better however the cinematography and the portayal of each of the characters to film was incredible.
