    Pun was one of my favorites and I was sad when he passed. I used to bump him back in the day when he was on "Firewater". My favorite songs on 'Capitol Punishment' are "Super Lyrical/w Black Thought, "Punish Me" and "Twinz-remake. "Carribean Connectio...n" featured Wyclef's best verse ever, I mean Clef was rippin' like Canibus on that. I like the mexican arrangement of "You Came Up". Read more Less

    The Rhyming Abomination

    If you can't appreciate Big Punisher's lyrics and style, you simply don't know anything about rap. If he was either Black or White, he probably would have outsold just about everybody in his short existence. His grammar, tongue twisters... and analogy are better than any I have EVER heard from anyone. Big Pun is right up there with Big L, Pac, Mos Def, Nas, Busta Rhymes. "Dead in the Middle of Little Italy, little did we know that we riddled to a middle man who didn't do diddely", hell, can nobody touch that. Read more Less

    This one of the best rap album ever heard. Big pun was like the second Biggie smalls. He had that Gangsta/playa type of style and his lyrics are amaizing. " Still not a playa" "Caribean Connection" and " Glamour Life" ar...e one of my favourite joints here, it's a shame he passed away. If he was still alive today, he would've sold out fat joe. R.I.P.     I first heard Big Pun in a club - it sounded fresh so I bought the CD. I'm glad I did. I admit some of the material will be offensive to some people - rap and hip hop of today is like that - street tough - its real life and Pun does it with flavor a...nd class - its too bad he's gone and we will only know him for the contributions he already made to the music world.
