Pros: Good size, good grip, great pics,super in low light!
Cons: Funny little cover over USB, video out compartment.
The A620 is my forth digital camera and far and away the best. I have a Canon S50, great but hard to handle-it's slippery. My Olympus c720 is a very good camer but not enough megapixels. This camera is user friendly whether you are a point and sh...ooter or a pro needing a carry around backup. I wasn't attracted to the flip out lcd screen at first but now I wouldn't have it any other way. All in all, the best bang for the buck. Read more Less

Pros: Everything you will ever need from a digital camera
Cons: A little bit pricey
This camera is THE ONE you want to own. It has everything you will ever need from a camera...photos, videos with sound, flip out screen, programmable and multi timed shots for tripod setup, extra info about images when viewing on screen, USB 2.0 conn...ection, TV direct viewing, very good power management, regular AA batteries, affordable SD memory card, viewing through the view finder shows the same zooming that the screen shows when you want it turned off to save battery life. Also the camera is the perfect size and weight, not to big or heavy, neither too small and light to be easy to lose or drop or to feel cheap. If you are in the market for a digital camera, this one has more than any other one you can find. Read more Less

Pros: Great grip, flex display, movie, and quick shots.
Cons: Heavy
It takes high quality pictures. This is my first Canon camera. After I got my first prints. I was like What? this camera did this? This camera is great for parents with kids in sports. It takes great motion pictures and is quick to take another. It d...on't take forever to take a picture after another. The only thing that I do not like is the weight. It on the heavy side. Pros: Pro level Control over pics
Cons: No Raw.
After a month long research and check and reading a lot of reviews of various brands, I came across A620. It sounded like a promissing candidate, so after some bargain I purchased it. And its been a week since I'm using it, and there isnt anythin...g i cant do with it. Super Extrme closeup (macro) or complete creative controls over photos. This machine is loaded with features you wont be able to find in many prosumer cameras. It has every feature of G6, so why spend so much on G6 when you can have it for half of the price. Cons: the switch between view and shoot
Canon just keeps getting better and better! I owned an S45 for about 3 years. When I lost it, I decided to still go with Canon. I like the swivel screen, even for just being able to safekeep the camera without the screen exposed. I'm surprised ab...out the battery time, I thought I would need to change them every 50 shots, but I'm now over 100 and it's still going! The features are amazing, and with the help of an adaptor, you can even change lenses. A great camera for the casual user! Read more Less

this is an excellent value.This model will soon be discontinued so the price is reduced.It has the same sensor and optics as the more expensive G6 but without the price.Many shooting modes so it will be easy for the beginner and versitile for the exp...ert. Battery life will last you over 400 shots which is great, and since it uses AA getting replacements in a pinch will be easy. It has a plastic body but it feels very sturdy and the grip makes it easy to hold.The av door which covers te mini usb port is flimsy but if you get a card reader for your computer you can bypass this problem. This camera has canon's Digic 2 processor so shuterspeed,start up time,colour reproduction and autofocusing are all greatly improved over previous models.For the price and the value you can't go wrong with this camera Read more Less

what a great camera, its my first digital and i love it, i have taken over a thousand pics and it does not disappoint me at all. the zoom is fantastic and you can take pics in any light and they come out great. cannon did a bang up job on this one. t...he only downfall is it goes through batteries so fast. Cons: A bit pricey
Since I shoot alot of outside dog photos I needed something small that could handle the job. This has all the features I need in a small package. It can freeze motion. Nice little movie feature too.

I recently got this camera to replace my Canon Powershot A75. That was a very good camera also, though only 3.2mp. I saw this camera at Dell for only $270ish and decided to pick it up. It is wonderful. I didnt think pictures could get any better th...an my previous Canon, but I was sure wrong. This camera takes photos that rival some of the high end cameras my friends have. Additionally, I love the flexibility of the camera. On the one hand, its fully automatic, but at the same time, you can adjust many of its manual features making your photos that much better. Even the movie mode surprised me with its clarity that rivals that of a standard dv camera. I do with that the camera was a little smaller, and that the lens wasnt as loud (kinda distracting in a quiet environment), but those minor things are totally worth it for the stellar quality you get from this camera.
