Pros: Affordable
Cons: none
I use this camera all the time it is affordable easy to use and takes pictures that people say are comparable to the more exensive SLR cameras.
Pros: easy to adjust manual controls
Cons: slow shutter
I like to be able to adjust shutter speed, aperture, and focus manually. The interface on this camera is much, much, much better than older Canon cameras I've owned. If you like other Canon point-and-shoots, and you want manual control, this is the ticket.
I rarely use flash, so I don't run into problems with red eye or battery life.
The CCD chip is noisy at high ISO settings, but the performance seems reasonable at this price point.
I think this is about as good as it gets for a point-and-shoot. Lens quality is very good, but obviously not as good as a pro camera. The 10x zoom is another nice feature that older Canon cameras lacked.
Pros: great features
Cons: clunky
I got this camera to replace another powershot. I use it as my "small camera" to complement my Rebel XTi. Overall, I love it because it has the same controls as the Rebel and takes very good pictures. Two downsides: one, the body is bulkier than comparable cameras, so it's a bit clunky to carry around in your pocket.; two, it only produces jpegs, not raw images.
Pros: Value for Money
Cons: Noisy picture in high ISO
This camera is vary good. Good value for money and also has lot of manual function. gives good picture quality and the processing is also very fast bu DIGIC 3. But this camera does not give fine quality in low light and with high ISO.
Pros: Photo/Video quailty
Cons: Size and battery useage
It's pretty big but it's one of the best point and shoot camera's out there. Great quality of pictures and videos. It runs out of battery very quickly and it useless because you have to buy AA batteries instead of having a rechargeable one. It's kind of pointless.
Pros: Small, easy to use, fast
Cons: blurry pictures, must use flash
We checked Consumer Reports to find a good camera and this one ranked at the top. We spent $300 and thought we had a small camera of great quality that would be handy to take pictures of our new baby.
This camera has not lived up to the CR report. Most pictures are blurry unless you use the flash. Any picture taken up close is blurry and most images are not as sharp as I would expect from a digital camera of this high pixel range.
It's simply not worth the money. I wouldn't buy it again even at a third of the price.
Pros: 10x optical zoom, 8 Mpixle, Image stabilizer
Cons: very good digital camera
Very good camera for family use specialy there is 10x optical zoom & there is 8 Mpixle which is more than enough for family use,AA size Battery rechargeble and ordinary this mean if charging finish you can use ordinary AA size Battery from supermarket, support upto 8 GB memory this mean alot of photos and video specially it v. good in video better than sony cameras that you can record more than 2 Hours of video and thousands of photos , very good quailty photos
