Cons: very good digital camera
Very good camera for family use specialy there is 10x optical zoom & there is 8 Mpixle which is more than enough for family use,AA size Battery rechargeble and ordinary this mean if charging finish you can use ordinary AA size Battery from supermarket, support upto 8 GB memory this mean alot of photos and video specially it v. good in video better than sony cameras that you can record more than 2 Hours of video and thousands of photos , very good quailty photos ...

Cons: Lots of pics ruined by red eye effect
I had a canon power shot before, and it just stopped working on me after a year of use. I was not so convinced about buying another canon power shot, but after 4 months, the SX100 IS has changed my mind and I am now glad I purchase it.
