Pros: Compact, convenient, widescreen

Cons: oh it doesn't have a 300000000 zoom lens

I got tired of lugging around my albatross...the Canon Rebel XTI (which is a nice camera, but now a relic), so I bought this camera and am eminently happy with it. It does everything I could ever want it to do except zoom in from a mile away.

Pros: Many features giving great photos, pocket size, absolutely cool looking, especially in black

Cons: Pretty expensive still

I have had the camera for a few days and used it for fall foliage photos and photos of my dog. They came out better than I could have imagined. I used the Foliage presetand the Kids & Pets setting, which are easy to dial up, and the result would compete with a good SLR. Look at the Canon web site sample photos. They really do come out that good.
