Pros: Looks good
Cons: Not worth the $ or the hassle
Uses alot of ink and wont print black if you run out of color ink! Even if you disable the use of color, it still has to have color ink in it. This will keep you using color to clean and check print heads even if youre trying to save $$ on the cartri...dge ink. Paper feeds crooked making poor copies from time to time. Also if you dont take out extended wty from where you purchased it, youll have to send MX310 into Cannon if you have a malfunction and youll get a REFURBISHED replacement (even if you only had the machine 4 short mths as we have). I didnt buy a used machine yet thats all I got when the doc feeder quit working. Be sure to do youre homework, chek reviews etc prior to buying. Also were not saving any money since we are paying around ten cents per copy using the MX310. I can get a better price making copies at office depot six cents each! Read more Less

I've had this printer for over a year and just now need an ink refill. I've had many printers over the years and this one is way better than the rest. I work on computers for the public and set the printers up as well. When I run up on people... like the ones giving this printer such bad reviews, I tell them to take it back and get the $20 one from Walmart. Its a little more thier speed. Read more Less

Pros: Ease of setup, everything works
Cons: sometimes omits hyperlinks
Canon got this one right. The reviewer who wrote that we must have color ink installed to print with black ink is mistaken.

i agree with the other reviews i cannot scanat all with this printer and i only owned it a yr.also when printing multiple copies it hesitatesand takes 4 times as long between sheets.i would like to say one more thing about allcompanies that the REBAT...E SYSTEM you should all be ashamed of yourselves. YOU knowand i know that this is a scam to the customersout their. and I pray GOD forgives you for yourmischief. because one day when you get older you will not understandor make a mistake and they will do the same to you Read more Less

I don't understand how this waste of money received 5 stars. I have owned the canon MX310 for about a year now and am fed up with it. This printer scans horribly (it won't pick up greys or light colors), the paper feed doesn't feed proper...ly (unless you like your corners folded), and you are constantly running out of ink. I'm tired of always feeling scammed by this printer. Today it says I'm out of ink when I just replaced it last week. I can't even print black and white because it claims my color cartridge is out. My Dell printer had a feature called "quick print" that used minimal ink to let you save ink, but there is no feature like that here. If you like to edit photos or save scanned images FORGET IT!! Forget "ease of use", the software is impossible to work with. Be prepared to spend many agonizing hours over this printer. Don't get suckered!! This printer is meant to keep you wasting your money by buying replacement ink cartridges. Read more Less
