    Great scanner for the money

Pros: Fast LED scanning, multi-scans photos

    Cons: Slow film scanning

After owning the previous model I was pleasantly surprised at the improvements in multi-photo scanning in this model. If the auto multi-scan doesn't get it right you can reset and manually select the images- and then adjust each one individually.... That really saves time. I used this in a retail photo lab and got great results quickly. The LED lamps also saved warm-up time as it was ready to go about as soon as I started to scan. The software was not the best but I always would use it from Photoshop so no problem, and that's what I would recommend to anyone- scan from your photo editor. Scanning slides and negs was very slow but it can do it. I used it to scan very large negs which is faster and if really large like some of the old negs I would use Photoshop to stitch it together from multiple scans. I don't need that feature often enough to buy a $2k scanner. At under $200 this is one great value. Read more Less
