Sevenpiece chamber folkpop band Canada began in late 2004 when a group of friends gathered in a basement and later a farm to write what would soon become the How Dare You EP and the debut fulllength This Cursed House, released on Quite Scientific Records. The latter, released in June 2006, was recorded on a soundboard used in the early '80s to mix segments of the original Star Wars films.
