This musical set at a summer camp for young singers, dancers, actors and musicians tells the story of Bert Hanley, a former Broadway songwriter who has to work at the camp because his career has burnt out after a series of flops. Inspired by the kids at the camp, however, Bert sees his chance to find success again by recruiting them to put together a new production. The long summer days at Camp Ovation are ripe with life lessons, fast friendships, jealousies and antics, along with the shocking discovery that there is an honest-to-goodness straight boy in the bunch.

    This movie is fantastic!

    By bcosmin_40000  Aug 2, 2006

Pros: Daniel Latterle is good looking, and perfect for the role!

Cons: He has gaps in his acting skills but compensates in looks and tenderness

The movie is a blessing for the societies of centran and eastern Europe, where I'm from. It's not a quoestion of: "is it a good movie", it's a question of "how well does it adress the quoestion at hand". I, for one, th...ink the idea that presenting the general public with the concept that homosexuality is a "personality condition" that manifests all the way from adolescence to old age is long over due and vital. And, like being black or a muslim, is an indispensable characteristic of an individual. Individual that should be accepted as he is and not as we want him to be. In conclusion: yes, I think the movie in fantastic, because it manages to adress this issue, and, of course, because it casts a good looking actor for the lead part :P Read more Less

    Pros: Daniel Letterle is Hot

    Cons: Everything Else

Daniel Latterle is pretty hot, but he sucks as an actor. The storyline was flawed, the entire camp was stereotypical, and it wasn't even worth the price of my Buy one Get one free video rental coupon.
