Pros: Decent Ghapics, almost real sounds of weapons, most people online are friendly
Cons: Some Glitches that need to be fix
Call of Duty is a very good World War 2 Shooting game. It uses the World War 2 Weapons, soldiers, and maps to make it feel like your in a real war. The sound are very real. Ghapics make the game look cool and real. Some Glitches that need to be fix are like rapid firing with a rifle etc. I would recommend this game to anyone who is a Shooting Gamer.

Cons: The multiplayer maps still have some glitches, but that makes it more fun if you know them :)!
When I recieved this, i thouhgt great another WWII game, but this one is different, and i am still playing it to this day!
The gameplay is the best part of the game, Call of Duty 2 may have better graphics but the gameplay is horrible compared to this. It is relatively easy game to get good at, but takes a while to become a master. The multiplayer is the best part, with 100's of servers and xfire to make the experiance better, it never gets old, seriously consider buying this game if you have a PC!Was this review helpful? Cons: None for Singleplayer but in Multiplayer Watch for Hackers
All over this is a great product and since it has been out for some years now the price has gone way down from $50.00 brand new when I bought it. It is worth the $15.00 or so it costs now, after you have expierienced the single player campaign don't forget about multiplayer which doen't require the disk in to play! The multiplayer feature of this product is well developed and is well protected from hackers byt the program Punkbuster (if you are in a non-punkbuster server excpect hackers.) But other than this Call of Duty for PC is well worth it and I also suggest if you are going to be big into multiplayer download Xfire, a chat system compatible with many multiplayer games for PC.

After about two months of play (not daily) I reached the end of the game. Wow! What a game that was! Really enjoyed the graphics, smooth game play, options, strategy. I really got into the story line. The developers of this game really did a nice job of creating an environment that sucks you into the action. Nice job to all involved in its development!

i used to never like first person shooting games but when i got this game and tried it out it turned out to be one of the best games i have ever played. the graphics, sound, gameplay, maps, storyline, and character AI is excellent. this game i also found the missions,weapons, and uniforms to be historically accurate. In this game the soldiers actually duck and yell and they are like a real people.this game uses controls which are easy to learn and there is a training mission in the beggining of the game to teach you how to control your soldier.in this game, you also get to play as the Americans, the british, and the Russians.

This game is very good but too Short. Action is intense. Loved all the maps. Has a lot tweeks to the setup options so you can get it to run well with out a lot of game slow downs. ( I hate it when the grapic's loading slows a game down ) Very good allround game, But needs to have more missions for single player.

Have played most of the 3d shooters out there for a long time.... this one is ranked #1 in my book! The music score fits the game perfectly; the graphics are unbelievable, even with midrange video card. You can tell they put some time and effort into this one, its def a game to check out!

If you are interested in WW11 battles or just like a really good scrap against a formidable opponent then you have it in this game. The game is very, very involving and the sound effects (if you turn up the volume control a tad or two) utterly realistic.
Not too frustrating at the hardest level to make it unplayable - you just have to learn from your mistakes like real soldiers do (if they survive).

The game uses the Quake3 engine, but a total revamp of it. It has smooth graphics, realistic gameplay, the game moves fluidly from scene to scene without hiccups.
The atmosphere is dynamic and compelling and makes you feel part of the story. You get swept up in the storyline and feel you are in a movie. The AI is very good, German soldiers duck and hide and act like real people. Overall A top notch job. I have played a number of WWII FPS games and this by far is the BEST I have ever seen.

I wasn't into WWII FPS's until CofD came along...yes they play on the emotional wave of Saving Private Ryan, but weren't we all wishing we could experience that in some deeper way? Incredible!
