    Say what you like about the clothes and the music, the seventies were a great decade for movies and this is beyond a doubt, one of the decade's high points.Redford and Newman are at the very peak of their individual powers with the end result being ...one of the screen's great pairings. And they are on screen a lot, too in what probably is The Last Great Western. But "The Searchers" this ain't."Butch and Sundance" is a classic popcorn muncher of a movie that's bound to appeal to everyone. If you haven't seen it, do so. If you haven't in a while, do so.     É impossível ver BUTCH CASSIDY apenas uma vez. O roteiro, a fotografia e o carisma do trio central (Newman, Redford e Ross) emociona. Dá saudades da época em que Hollywood emocionava sem enganar.

    Redford and Newman at their best as the west's most unfortunate outlaws. Newman plays Butch leader of "The Hole in the Wall Gang" who along with Sundance played by Redford are targgeted by angry railway bosses who hire top law men and the best track...er around to find and kill them. This takes Butch and Sundance on a wild getaway through the west and onto Bolivia where the non stop action, robbing and comedy leads to an unforgetable dramatic finale. Read more Less
