    Do You like Cop Movies ?You've got to see this Movie.It includes the car chase to end all car chases.Many have tried to duplicate it (French Connection,The Seven Ups,and even more recent,Ronin & The Bourne Identity)but McQueen was just so damn cool. ...Even his car stunts in The Getaway were great (However..not up to Bullitt).See it !!     Bullitt has the best car chase ever appeared
    on movie screen! And in case you didn't know:
    Steve McQueen didn't use a stunt man in that
    scene, he drove himself. The script is great!

    All other "car chases" are gauged by this movie. It is a "must see". McQueen is at his best as Lt Frank Bullitt.

    good late 60s police thriller

    tough silent cynical cop (McQueen) fights opportunistic politician (Vaughn) as well as violent gangsters. Several twists and turns and a pioneering car chase sequence keep the viewer interested. Bisset's role as romantic interest is incidental and in...sipid, she could just as easily been out of the film. Read more Less

    the movie is great, I saw this movie when it first came out. I have always wanted a copy of it, now I have one. The auto chase is the best.This is a razor-edged thriller!
