    Pros: intense, character growth, good extras.

    Cons: one of the darkest seasons of all. and tara died.

    Overall it along with season 2,5,7, is one of my favorites. Buffy comes back, thay sing!, Buffy sleeps with Spike, Willow goes all junkie, Tara and giles bail, Xander leaves Anya at the alter, Anya back in vengance, Willow gets better, Tara comes bac...k, Dawns a klepto, Anya sleeps with Spike eeryone finds out, Buffy and Xander are hurt and everyone find out about Buffy and spike, Spike tries to rape Buffy, he leaves, Warren shoots Buffy and Kills Tara, Willow goes all wonky, saves buffy skins Warren, tries to kill everyone then the world, Xander saves the day.     Pros: The Musical! Takes on real life issues

    Cons: Giles not around for much of the season...

    This is the best season. It went downhill after this year...Joss clearly phoned in season 7. But this year, especially the first half, is the best the show ever produced. You will not be disappointed. The musical tops even HUSH for the best singl...e show of the series... Read more Less

    Pros: Better than the first four, ties with the fifth. "Buffy" is still a great show.

    Cons: Though the special features were interesting, they were a little too limited.

    I, being a huge fan of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" from the start(well, excluding the original movie, really), found the sixth season even better than the first four, though I must say, it ties with the fifth. The humor is excellent, the ac...tion is plentiful and looks more realistic, the storyline is brilliant, as are the actors...all in all, this was a great new addition. Though I was kind of pissed when one of my favorite characters was killed off the show, the following three episodes made losing her worthwhile. (Sorry! Trying not to spoil anything!) I DEFINITELY recommend "BTVS: Season 6" to any true fan. Have fun! Read more Less

    Pros: excellent season

    Cons: knowing there's only one more season left

    Season 6 has many highlights to recommend it as a must own season.The previous season ended with Buffy's death and this one(surprise...surprise)f
    inds Her ressurected.Season 5 ended it's run on the WB Network and perhaps they were unsure that ...they would be returning.The 6th Season debuted the show on the UPN stations.One of the most talked about Buffy shows in all 7 seasons is here, ONCE MORE WITH FEELING.The song & dance episode that will surprise You at just how well some of Your favorite actors can sing.Then there's Willow's dependance (more like an addiction)on magic(that, can never turn out good)and another episode (which could have been altered to serve as an interesting final episode of the series)finds Buffy in a mental institution.Has Her Vampire Slaying all been the product of Her imagination?All that and Spike too!!!!!!!!!!!!A must for any fan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!     Buffy's Back From The Grave And Better Than Ever!

    This 6-disk set is a great buy for all Buffy fans. It includes the hilarious musical episode "Once More, With Feeling" along with Tabula Rasa, in which Willow finally crosses the line with magic which almost results in the deaths of her and... her friends. "Hell's Bells" is another fantabulous (Fantastic + Fabulous) episode in which Buffy and the Scoobies try to lead normal lives but even with their best efforts Anya and Xander's wedding plans progress quickly from ever-so-slightly ary to full-blown chaos. I highly reccomend this set to anyone who has ever visited "The Buffyverse"! It includes all the episodes in Season 6, along with special featues and even a karaoke section featuring 3 songs from "Once More, With Feeling". It's a great buy for an even lower price than the Lord of the Rings extended versions (4-disk sets for the 2/3 movies already released)and has something for everyone. Get yours today! Read more Less

    A Very Dark Season

    I was a fan right from the start in 1997. Season 2 was the best season, when Angel turned evil and stalked Buffy's friends and she was forced to kill him, despite his return from evil at the very last moment. I hated season 6 at first because o...f the whole Spike-Buffy thing but have grown to appreciate it since. This is a dark and brooding season full of pain, whether it's Zander and Anya dealing with the pain of their cancelled wedding or Buffy's not so happy resurrection and her realization that she has a darker side, as evidenced by her attraction to Spike.My main complaint with this season is that there wasn't much of the old Buffy wit from seasons past. But sometimes we all just need to wallow in the despair. Read more Less
