FROM THE JUMP OFF ("BROWN SUGAR") TO THE FINAL RELAXER "HIGHER", THIS IS PURE, UNCENSORED, UNCOMPROMISING, BLACK MUSIC AT IT'S VERY BEST. PLUS "LADY" IS MY FAVOURITE SONG OF ALL TIME. HAVING HEARD THIS BUY YOURSELF FIVE COPIES B-COZ YOUR FRIENDS WILL PERMANTLY BORROW THEM, PLUS YOU'LL PROBABLY SCRATCH IT AND THAT WILL BE NO GOOD U SILLY CHILD!!!

I remember growing up with this cd. Right when i needed some soul searching this CD accidently aappeared in my room. I played it and fell in love with the blues jazz and funk. D'Angelo rocks. This album is one of the BEST!!!

I never had any favorite singer since D'Angelo came up with Brown Sugar.His latest album Voodoo is even better. I listen both albums almost day and night and nothing else.I consider myself the only true fan of all time, and everybody else who knows me knows that D is #1 to me, and always will be

D'Angelo is by-far the most talented soul brother in the music industry. Who hits the notes he does, NOBODY!!! His voice, his image, and his persona puts him on such a higher level then anybody!!! The smoothest brother I know and the man who encourages people to find their inner peace, D'Angelo is truly an idol to many people, including myself!!

An R&B Classic

It's rare but refreshing in this day and age to find an R&B musician who not only plays with a live band, but also writes his own music and knows how to play an instrument. D'Angelo is a capable pianist, a creative songwriter, and has a beautiful voice. The songs on this album range from fairly complex jazz (Dreamin Eyes) to straight out bump and grind (Lady). Crusin' is an absolute masterpiece! This album is perfect for chillin' or making love to - highly recommended.

This album is an instant classic. It, as a matter of fact is the only four year old album that I still nod my head to. I just never get tired of it. There's a song for every mood I'm ever in.
