I hate this printer
Pros: it's a printer
Cons: everything
It jams all the time
It takes more than one sheet of paper (making it impossible to save paper by printing on each side)
It won't let you print any documents if even one of the colors are out (which go very quickly), even if it is a black and white document.

Cons: Jams continuously, will not handle photo paper, hard to clear jams
Give this one a pass. It jams a lot and is a pain to clear, goes through printer ink very quickly, will not print on photo paper or thicker, high quality paper. Overall, unacceptable from a user perspective.

Pros: Initial price inexpensive
Cons: Ink is used without printing. Scanner can not be used without ink.
I bought this printer because it was relatively inexpensive and had a fax/copier/scanner and printer all in one. I also liked the compact size and design. After 3 months, I now realize the error of my ways. I do not print that much, and the printer periodically cleans the print heads and drains the ink in the process. End result. Even if you don't print at all for months, the ink will be depleted. I already had to buy all 4 inks even though i printed less than 70 pages of print outs.
Also, when one of the cartridges is empty, the other functions of the printer can not be used such as the scanner!!!
Lastly, as I found out today. The envelope feed is a no go, and the printer has problems realizing that the paper jam HAS been cleared.
Warning to others, especially those who don't print alot. Do NOT buy this product!Was this review helpful? Yes - Noi like it
Pros: easy to set up and use, cheap ink available online

I'm a light user and had it about 3 weeks so far and havent had any problems printing/faxing/or scanning however i cant comment on photo printing as i dont do it. print quality is very good. picked it up at best buy for 109.00 I love this printer after having a good for nothing dell a940, where ink replacement is a fortune. i got 4 cartridges(it takes 4) of compatable ink(tested it) online for 10 bucks delivered. Im sure there are poblems i'll find down the road but so far so good.
