Laser Printing for 120 Dollars

Pros: Fast, Nice, Easy to use, Inexpensive toner

Cons: None yet..

I have had this laser printer for over 2 years. I was reluctant at first to purchase because I loved my Canon, but after I bought this, I never looked back. Since purchasing this on a really good deal with sales/rebates, I have only had to purchase 2 toner cartridges. At 30 dollars a piece, I feel that is great. I do a fair amount of printing and I am quite pleased with this printer. I would highly advise anyone with a need for a home office printer to purchase this one. HP makes a great printer, but they are cost prohibitive and are better suited for an office environment with lots of work. If you want a laser printer for work at home, brother 1440 is the one!

Superb Printer for the Price

Pros: $99 bucks after rebate, can't beat that quality and price

Cons: None

Absolutely recommend this for a sub $100 Laser printer,
the toner is also cheaper than other models costing on average $55 / 6000 pages.

I have neen using this printer for 3 years and I haven't had a single problem. Toner cost has to be taken into account as with any other printer.

I would HIGHLY recommend this printer for ANY home or small office space user. Trust me, I did my homework before I bought this unit and it certinaly paid off!

Quick, Fast, and almost Easy...

Purchase mine from Dell to replace a old machine that died a few days earlier. Main decision was it could be used with Windows 95 (no USB port). Set-up was tricky because the install software was made with Flash, well, my system did not have flash installed and I couldn't view the set-up screen. Tech support was called (12 minute wait around noon) but I received no real help other than the file structure of the CD. With that info I was able to locate the install folder and file in the Win95/disk1 folder and double clicked the file to install. The rest went fine.
Good quality and speed. I may purchase another one just for kicks.

This is a very affordable and competent home or small office laser printer. It is very fast and the paper handling is great. The only thing that I would have the Brother people do to this printer is to make the print a little more bold. The print is on the fine side and for some tastes it might be too fine.

This is a tremendous printer that really delivers the speed and quality that is advertised. I purchased mine from Gateway for $250 (retails everywhere else for $300) and have been quite satisfied
