This is one the the greatest movies I have ever seen. Someone said I had to see it and when I did I had to agree. One of the best! The story is great as well as the acting. Yeah it has its cheazy parts that should have been cut out but all in all its a great flick.

I LOVE this movie. I am like one of the worlds worst movie critics. I critique everything that is wrong with a film that I watch so by saying this film is a good means alot. Of course, as with ANY movie, Brother has its shortcomings but with the quality of the acting and the beauty of the story the viewer can let that all slide. I have long since been a fan or Epps and only would hope that hell make more movides like this one. I wont give details of the movie but Ill say its avery moving story and also a tragedy in its own right.

gangster movie of all time. Cut out Omar Epps' rambling on at the end and this movie would be a classic.

The movie started off real good then towards the middle it kind of went too much into too much dialogue of where the ganstas arised from. But towards the end the action is non-stop and if like me you like straight action and killing to the ultimate, this one is for you. Next time, cut back on the dialogue, increase the action. Definite 4 out of 5

Yes - Nothis movie blows all the other gangster movies away. if you like blood shed then this is the one to see. takeshi is an older chow yun fat. it reminds you of the killer by john woo. the movie grips you by the huevos from the start and wont let you go. this is a must see movie.

i've liked kitano's films very much, but this one was just a big disappointment. this film was his first one to shoot in the u.s. which allowed him to use real guns. i guess he was too excited about being able to use real guns.
