    Rips open at heel

    Cons: Lots

    My worst choice. This is my second Brooks and both ripped open on the inside of the heel at an early stage. Don't use it for running anymore because after the first run my left calf was hardening. That went on because the cushioning is really bad on the Glycerin 5. (Cushioning on my first Brooks was good). The shoe is worth maybe $40.

    I do not have any problems with Nikes and Asics. Great shoes both.
