Pros: It's still great for pronators

Cons: Longer toe box creates problems

I was torn between how to review this shoe - a two star vs a three star. I ran in the Addiction 7 for three years including marathons and 1/2 marathons. I never once had a problem with them. In fact they fit like a glove. When the 7 was discontinued,... I had no choice but to upgrade. It's been a year now and it hasn't been fun. The overall quality of the shoe is excellent as is the value. The problem I have is with the design upgrade. For me, I strongly suspect, the longer toe box is at the heart of my problems. My shorter right foot feels like it's sloshing around and I'm constantly getting blisters, especially on longer runs. This is very frustrating as Brooks shoes have treated me very well over the years. Read more Less
