    Pros: Totally memorable

    Cons: No special features

    An over the hill lounge singer named Lou Canova, a one legged tap dancer, Barney Dunne the worst puppeteer ever, Herbie Jason's birds that peck out tunes on the piano, two balloon folders, an iodine drinking poet, the Thanksgiving Macy Day's ...parade, Milton Berle, the Carnegie Deli, mafia mistress Tina Vitale, Joe Franklin and of course the most sincere, loser of a manger Danny Rose... Woody Allen ties these disparaging elements into one of his most circular, touching, hilarious, and memorable films. It's just brilliantly done. Completely solidifies Woody as one of the greatest American screen writer, director, actors of all time. Star, smile, strong indeed! Read more Less

    A bunch of guys sitting around The Broadway Deli remembering Danny Rose...the comedians sitting are the jewels of comedy. I loved this movie! Mia Farrow gives a great performance as heavy New York accented lounge singer. Woody Allen is hilarious as ...the long suffering Danny Rose. Strewn with stereotypical New Yorkers,variety acts, gangsters, and plot twists, it is great fun as only Woody Allen can provide. One of my favorites for around Thanksgiving as it features the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade near the end. I highly recommend this movie. Read more Less
