    Bringing out the Dead is the finest if not the Finest movie about EMS ever! It brings out real life of EMS (well maybe not the drinking) but it sure does. From an EMS worker to the ordinary Joe its what we go through every single day.

    Most people did not like this film from those I've talked to. However, I (being a Scorsese fan) found it great. I feel that there are some great issues brought about that are not normally discussed in society. Scorsese does a great job bringing the b...ook to the screen and each person within the film gave great life to the picture. For those who like thought-provoking and un-typical films...Bringing Out the Dead will be worth your time. Read more Less

    This was by far the best film of 1999- next to Being John Malkovich. Nobody makes films like this anymore- with actual content, originality, and feeling. I'm sure the reviewer that thought it sucked would tell you how much of a fan of American Pie h...e is. Read more Less

    Very Compelling Character Study

    Scorsese's dark character study of an overworked ambulence driver takes you inside the mind of a man barely hanging on to his sanity. Brilliant use of outside characters (Sizemore, Goodman, Rhames)to reflect the mindset of Cage. Very Good film.
