Everthing about it is great!!
The songwriting, the vocals, and the guitar work are one of a kind on this one. Trower has released some great records (and still is), but this certainly stands out as his best in my opinion.

Let me put it this way, if my house was on fire and I could only save one album from my collection, it would most likely be this one. Bridge Of Sighs is as close to perfection as an album can get. No filler, no commercial singles, and a beautiful, blues/rock sound. The Expanded Edition (with 5 bonus live tracks) has incredibly clear sound. From Trower's incredible guitar work to Dewar's soulful vocals and driving bass lines, this album is a keeper. Isidore is a great drummer too, accentuating Trower and Dewar perfectly. Trower doesn't shy away from his influences and this album is definitely his best. What Twice Removed From Yesterday began, Bridge Of Sighs continues and perfects. My personal favorites are the title track, "In This Place," and "It's About To Begin." A classic in every sense of the word. Get it immediately!
