Not a clone

Robin Trower isn't a Hendrix clone...sure he plays a Strat through a Marshall but to me anyway, he has a distinctive style of his own.

While Robin Trower certainly has some great songs to make a solid compilation/box set, this album is by far his best individual release. The album tracks are underrated, while "Bridge Of Sighs", "Day Of The Eagle" and "Too Rolling Stoned" are so fantastic they almost steal the thunder of this masterpiece as a whole. Vocalist James Dewar deserves kudos for these hits and his superior efforts on the slow-down material.
