Pros: Great vocals
Cons: live version of "Bridge"
I've sat thru many of an audition for a front man/lead singer for bands and if Clay would of walked in we would of laughed.... but then when we heard his voice the laughter would of died and the auditions would of been over.
This kid has PIPES!
To find someone who can belt out Journey's "Open Arms" and then take on a classic like "Bridge over troubled water" is one in a Zillion!
I know that Ruben was the favorite (a thing that still bewilders the musicians in my circle, and there has been many a conspiracy theory afoot) but Ruben can't hold a candle to Clays vocal abilities.
Give Clay a chance.

Though he didn't get the title of American Idol 2, it looks like he is the world's idol because Clay got charisma. Here in Canada, everybody loves his songs and nice voice. Way to go Clay! God Bless!

Clay Aiken is incredible! This CD is incredible! I cannot wait until his album comes out Oct. 14 (Everyone Buy It). Clay could make "The Wheels on the Bus" sound good.Extremely talented man.A++++++++++++++++++

The reason I love this cd is because Clay is so talented. You can give him almost anything to sing and it sounds good. Most people have their style that they can sing, but Clay can sing any style of music that is meant to be sung. I love listening to this cd and can't wait for the full length to come out.

What a breath of fresh air. The music and lyrics are crisp and easy to understand. Very moving. He brings real emotion into his songs. Absolutely brilliant. He definately had my votes and should have beat Ruben.

Clay Aiken is such an amazingly talented artist who will definitely go far in the music business, considering how many determined and supporting fans he has. Plus, his wonderful looks can't hurt either, :) These songs show why so many people love Clay, he had an outstanding voice, outgoing personality,and great looks. Buy this single now! You wont regret it! I LOVE CLAY AIKEN! (sorry, I had to add that)

Outstanding voice. Heard a Song off his new cd, due out in October, at The American Idol Tour, and he got a standing ovation for the song. Clay also sang This Is The Night, which is off this CD, and received a long standing ovation for this song. He is an unbelievable performer and we cannot wait for a future solo concert. If the rest of his songs are like these two he is going to be a great entertainer.
