Synopsis: Bride and Prejudice (2005)

The determined Mrs. Bakshi sets out to find marriage matches for her four beautiful daughters while there's a lavish wedding party in town. Right away, the smart and headstrong Lalitha (Aishwarya Rai) announces she will only marry for love, giving her mother nightmares. Then Lalitha meets the wealthy American Will Darcy (Martin Henderson) and sparks immediately fly....

    Pros: the indian flavor is interesting & entertaining

    Cons: story sort of usual - you know the 2 will get together at last

    i have no expectation from the start when I watch the movie although a friend highly recommend. It's surprisingly entertaining. The indian cultural part blend in nicely, both the storyline & also the dancing/ musical part. nice & neat from my (no...n-indian) standpoint. Certainly something quite different from usual hollywood productn. I would highly recommend anyone who has not much clue on the background of the film yet enjoy happy love story. Read more Less

    Pros: Very beautiful actors

    Cons: too rush in the final scene

    This is the best movie that comes out from Bollywood. And the best actress and the most beautiful woman in the world. I totally love her. I thorughly enjoy the movie. i went into the theatre sulking and I came out full of laughter :D. I'd like to... see more of Aishwarya Rai's movie hopefully in english language ;) She has a bright career and future in Hollywood. Read more Less
