braun immersion blender
Pros: power / reliability / ergonomics

This is the best immersion blender available. Don't bother with the cheaper models and ignore the pricier brands that offer nothing over this blender. I've used mine every day for 6 years, and i've bought 1/2 a dozen as gifts. All my friends have had the same experience.
