Brassmunk
Formed in 1997, this Canadian hiphop trio spent the lion's share of their first few years together releasing a steady stream of independent singles before the major label Virgin came along and offered them a deal. Members SRoc, Clip, Agile, and May 19 released their first EP, Dark Sunrise, on 54th/Virign in 2002, and in 2003 the EP was expanded and rereleased as a fulllength with the group's early work added on.
