Synopsis: Brainscan (1994)

Synopis: Michael (Edward Furlong) is a gore-loving, media-saturated, suburban teen. Isolated by his distant father and dead mother, he finds refuge in horror fanzines and slasher flicks. He plugs into a new interactive game where the player enacts all too real murders. He thinks he can beat the wisecracking gamemaster--called the Trickster (T. Ryder Smith)--at his own game, but when he finds a severed foot in the fridge Michael realizes there is a bit more to Brainscan than he realized.

Amy Hargreaves is really to die for. It's hard to believe this was her biggest hit. Anyway, this movie probably could've been a PG-13 (nothing really that bad), that way more people would've enjoyed it. The plot was pretty good, the acting was great, and I guess the biggest flaw was Trickster's makeup... heh heh. Anyway, I'd recommend renting this movie off the shelf in your local video store and watching it. It's probably not one you should miss. ...
