Experimenter Boyd Rice is perhaps most notable for being one of the first avant-garde rock artists to use turntables in his work. Under both the alias Non and his own name, Rice has recorded several albums of challenging, not always accessible forays into tape loops, noise collages, and repetitive textural pieces.
