    Pros: Not much

Cons: Long winded, too much unnecessary padding

This is the final book of the BOURNE series. An otherwise interesting read becomes lacklustre because of too much unnecessary padding. Just cannot understand why must the writer always purposely digress into some small little details that act as anti...-climax whenever the storyline was developing into something exciting. The story should be more readable and a lot more interesting if the word count could be reduced by half. Read more Less

    Pros: Good story, good characters

    Cons: Very tedious at times

This could have been a great ending for a great series, but the dialogue between characters at critical times was just unbelievable. Additionally, far too often, when the story was developing at a good pace, the author spent way too much time develop...ing intricate theories about matters which, while relevant, distracted totally from fast moving events. The book is far too tedious in far too many places. Read more Less

Publisher Notes: Bourne Ultimatum

  • The world's two deadliest spies in the ultimate showdown. At a small-town carnival two men, each mysteriously summoned by telegram, witness a bizarre killing. The telegrams are signed Jason Bourne. Only they know Bourne's true identity and understand the telegram is really a message from Bourne's mortal enemy, Carlos, known also as the Jackal, the world's deadliest and most elusive terrorist. And furthermore, they know that the Jackal wants: a final confrontation with Bourne. Now David Webb, professor of Oriental studies, husband, and father, must do what he hoped he would never have to do again--assume the terrible identity of Jason Bourne. His plan is simple: to infiltrate the politically and economically Medusan group and use himself as bait to lure the cunning Jackal into a deadly trap--a trap from which only one of them will escape.
